County Appoints East Falls Church Task Force
The Arlington County Board has appointed a 17-member East Falls Church Task Force "to generate a vision
for transit-oriented development in the East Falls Church area of Arlington County."

The County Board designated Mike Nardolilli, President of the Arlington-East Falls Church Civic Association (AEFCCA),
to head the group and appointed AEFCCA representatives John Wilson, Alan Parker, and Tim Reese,
with Barbara DePauw as an alternate to the Task Force. The rest of the Task Force is composed of representatives
from other civic associations, County advisory groups, the City of Falls Church, Metro, and VDOT.

The Task Force is charged with reviewing all previous planning efforts, specifically including
the AEFCCA Metro Survey completed in 2005, and report directly to the County Board.

The Task Force plans on holding monthly public meetings at Falls Church Fire Station #6,
which is located on Lee Highway/Washington Street in the neighborhood.
The Task Force will hold its first organizational meeting at the Fire Station at 7:00 pm on September 26th.
